Time to Play Catch Up! *Warning it's LONG*

OK... So I was looking at the blog last night and realized that Kim hadn't posted any of our cool trips yet from this summer. I mean we have had an awesome summer despite the whole work-for -the-lamest-company-in-the-world thing that we had going on. Besides naming things that we don't like after my summer employer (my sister Apryl's compost pile is now named "The Pinnacle") we really aren't bitter or hold a grudge. We have had some fun adventures this summer. Each of them deserves it's own posting but I don't know if I want to be uploading pictures that long so I will steal an idea from Doug and Mar Green's blog and do collages!!

1.) Trip#1 Richmond, VA. Mission: Find an apartmentSo our trip to Richmond was awesome! I got to show Kim around campus a little bit and we both got really excited to move in on AUG 8th!! On the way there we saw the Washington DC temple pop up from the freeway and on the way back we saw the Washington Monument and the White House. I start school on the 11th and am really excited to be back in school and get started!

Trip#2 New York City, NY. Mission: Cardon's 26th Birthday Party!
So New York was awesome yet again! We had an interesting time getting there but after we were there we enjoyed Uncle Lee, Greek food (Octopus) provided by the same Uncle Lee, Naps, IKEA, Workouts with the Jillian Micheals DVD, and CARDON'S PARTY! It was wicked awesome sweet bro! Cardon and Kelly and Uncle Lee were alot of fun to be around!

Trip#3 Philadelphia, PA. Mission: Independence Site Seeing
So in Philadelphia we got to see points where alot of our country's independence was declared. We saw where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed that paved the way for the liberties that we all enjoy. We got to see the Liberty Bell, which as we found out, dosen't really have any true historical significance to it but has been adopted as a National Icon of sorts. It was still awesome to see and it does stand for liberty so.... The rooms in the pictures are where the Senate and the House originally met in Philly until their new and current home was complete in Washington DC. Also we saw where the man grew up that won independence for every underdog from the oppression of boxers such as Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago, Tommy Gunn and most recently from Mason Dixon... Yes ROCKY BALBOA. We ran where Rocky ran and drank raw eggs in honor of the many many hours that I have spent watching his movies. Thank you to our founding fathers and Rocky Balboa for providing truth and independence for all to enjoy!

Trip#4 Rickett's Glen State Park, PA. Mission: Fun in the Sun
Rickett's Glen State Park is home to SO MANY STINKING WATERFALLS!!!! Holy Canoli! Serious there are something like 22 waterfalls all in a row on like a 3 mile hike! They range from 90' to 20' and there are lots of smaller ones but anything under 20' dosen't get measured. We went with my sister Apryl's family and it was a blast! Everything was soooo green and alive! Milah was great on the hike and didnt complain at all. She even slept for a big chunk of it.
We stopped and played in the waterfalls as we went down. They were so awesome! Not too cold or anything.
Kim documented several types of fungus and insects as we hiked. She was thinking they were so cool how they came in all sorts of colors and shapes! they were pretty cool lookin I'd have to admit.

We have rather enjoyed living with Apryl and Kelly in Philly this summer. But can't wait to stretch our legs and our wings in our new home in Richmond! We miss all of our friends in Logan and the ones that aren't in Logan any more!

I want to know how to put my pics into squares like that! No one can tell me how. Will you give me ideas?
