Milah LOVES Sesame Street, it is this new thing the last few weeks. You can download episodes for free off itunes. Awesome. I let her watch her "movie" while I make dinner, she calls it her "meme." She say's Elmo perfect and is currently obsessed with her Elmo toothbrush and tooth paste.
TODAY AT THE STORE..funny:
Kim: Hey Milah, look ELMO!!
Milah: Blank stare
K: It's Elmo, look...I push a button and Elmo starts talking , giggling and throwing his arm out like he's blowing kisses.
M: Blank stare, a couple feet further away than before.
Boy: (Little cute black boy walking by probably five yrs.) "I wouldn't buy her that, that's scary. If I were her age, I would think that's really scary...I would pick something else out." Walks off.
K: I pushed the button one more time, Milah loves blowing kisses too, she might warm up to it.
M: Uncomfortable look.
Girl: (Little white girl probably 7 yrs.) standing behind me. "Weird." Don't push it again."
I then take Milah to look at other toys. Wasn't there some huge thing about getting an Elmo doll one Christmas before!? How could those parents do that to their children!
Luckily Milah was not to shattered from the experience and loved watching her "meme" while I made dinner tonight :) Thank goodness for Sesame Street. It is very educational show, I love it... as much as I did when I was a kid still. hehe.

Those kids comments are so funny! Oddly enough Clara loved that Elmo doll that blows kisses--she thought it was so funny! But then again she is a fan of over-sized, walking, moving characters! (: I'm glad Milah loves Sesame Street! I do, too! Okay--I'm going to make this the longest comment ever--if you search 1,2,3,4 on Youtube a Sesame Street video comes up that Clara loves with Feist (or however you spell her name). Okay, now I'm done (:
Did you know Sesame Street isn't allowed to be played on the air anymore because it's politically incorrect?! hahaha how times have changed! You should upload video of Milah, we would love to see her in action.
That's too funny that those other kids were pitching in their advice. How sweet, they're looking out for your little Milah. When my nephew was like 3 and a half he wouldn't even let go of his Elmo so that the cashier could ring it up. Kids must understand the power of fads.
haha that is too funny! :)
