The latest...and my birthday all month :)

Brad and I were invited to the Galen Society dinner again this year by the MCV/VCU Deans and Alumni that give a lot to the School of Pharmacy. The Presidents of each Class get invited. It is a really neat night. The people there are really great and successful. It is nice to hear their stories and listen to their examples in the Pharmacy field. Both years we have been assigned to a table with Independent Pharmacists, which is real neat because that is what Brad wants to do. He wants to have an independent pharmacy that compounds and has a clinic. It is neat to sit with these Pharmacists that do those things right now and do them real well!
For my birthday I asked for Lemon Meringue pie! Brad did a fabulous job! We ate almost the whole thing that night, which to me equals awesome birthday:) We went to Ikea and got some things I've wanted for our house and I got my Owl City CD. I loved my gifts. We didn't take many pictures...oops. Oh, but yes that is a silky nighty I have on in this picture and yes I did ask for it. It is like heaven every night. (Thanks mom.)
I drove down to Raleigh, NC to visit one of my very best friends Kacey who was out there for work! This is my "cake" she made:) A big bowl of Rice Krispies! It was just like college days, but with candles in it. We ate out, went to a movie, rented movies, shopped, laughed and laughed, went to the National Park AND BRAD WATCHED MILAH AT HOME AND MADE UP SCHOOL LATER so I could go childless. Best husband ever :)
These are my FABULOUS friends in Richmond who threw me a fondue birthday party! I look like I am a wizard, but I am in a birthday hat and a SNUGGIE that they got me:) Yep, a blanket with sleeves. They are hilarious.

That pic of you in the snuggy is Hilarious!!! The pic of me though, not so much. I do not look good at all. It was so great of you to come visit. I had the best time and can't wait to see you in a couple weeks! By the way..I found your birthday card in my purse on the way home that I totally forgot to give you. I'll give it to you when you come up so your birthday can be celebrated in December too! Love ya

I just discovered your blog! I realized that if you were checking mine, you must have one too! I'll have to add you to my links so we can be blog buddies. We definitely want to do dinner sometime...It was so sweet of you to invite us; we were sad that it didn't work out! As soon as Tim finds out his Internal Medicine rotation schedule, I'll send you an email.
