Life outside the womb is FANTASTIC!
Beautiful.
Little everythings.We came home from the hospital today! This morning Milah was released! Her jaundice is improving! We go back to the hospital tomorrow, but only for another lab test to see if she is still improving. Her pediatrician had me breast feeding, which we were planning on doing.. ( she is a pro) AND doing some supplement formula, which was a PAIN! They tried to have us give her it while breast feeding through a tube we stuck in by the side of her mouth. It was wasn't working well, so he had us doing breast and bottles, which was kinda confusing for her and it felt thats all we were doing! Since my milk came in the doctor said that we don't have to supplement anymore. The point of all this feeding was to have her soiling her diaper as often as possible..not fun :) This flushes her liver and cleans out jaundice... (in a gist.) We don't want to have to put her under blue lights, so we are hoping tomorrows check up is great!
We are soooo happy and love being parents, there isn't a day that's passed where I haven't cried, she's such a blessing. She is so fun! She makes great faces and noises already. She loves to snuggle and I love that! She knows her mommy and it makes me smile. Life is great. Thanks for being patient for the postings, life's been crazy this week!

We are soooo happy and love being parents, there isn't a day that's passed where I haven't cried, she's such a blessing. She is so fun! She makes great faces and noises already. She is so beautiful! I am so happy for you. Isn't it so much fun? She is a blessing. I know all about the Jaundice and supplementing with the bottle. Madie had the same exact thing. She had to do the lights in the hospital though. Hope her bili levels go down!

Yeah! Congrats on your little ones arrival! It looks like everything went well and Scott and I are happy for you both. She is beautiful! I hope everything checks out with the jaundice, but it is good that breast feeding is going well. It does feel like a full time job doesn't it?! You finally made it! Hope you guys get some sleep too! Cohen is just now sleeping all the way through the night, best of luck to you!

KIM AND BRAD!! little Milah is so so beautiful. I am so excited for the two of you. I am sure you are fantastic parents. This summer we are def going to have to work something out to see you all. Jo and I just might have to make a trip to philly.
I totally understand what you're going through and I hope you don't have to do the blue lights either! I think Sky and Carson and I ALL cried when we had to put him in that thing!!

KIM! She is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and I'm not even just saying that! Congrats, I am so happy for you! I totally know what you mean about crying every day:) Such a happy and emotional time... I'm pretty jealous of you right now:) How fun!
